Bismarck Airport is an integral part of the transportation network and economic base for the City of Bismarck and central North Dakota. As such, it is essential to continually monitor the growth and to plan for the future of the Airport. Part of the process to plan for the future of Bismarck Airport is to update the Airport Master Plan. The Airport Master Plan Update will provide guidelines for future airport development in a way that will satisfy aviation demand in a financially feasible manner, while addressing airport-related environmental and socio-economic issues in the community. The Airport Master Plan Update process consists of seven distinct steps:
Two committees formed to support the planning process are the Technical Advisory Committee and Policy Advisory Committee. Two Public Information Workshops will be held to present the process and findings to the general public. |
